Minecolonies is a town building mod that allows you to create your own thriving Colony within Minecraft! With features including many NPC workers, buildings, a fantastic building tool and a robust permissions system in multiplayer, you can have the Colony of your dreams!

Governance

You have full control over how to build your town. You decide how many workers you need, what type they are, where they live, and you can hire or fire them as you see fit — all at your own pace. MineColonies puts you in the role of designer, administrator, and boss of a colony that grows exactly the way you envision it.

Security & Replenishment

Your colony deserves the best protection you can provide. Strategically place Guard Towers or Barracks to defend against hostile mobs and barbarian raids that strike on random nights. Equip your guards with the best weapons and armour your colony can offer. Keep your farmers busy supplying your bakers and cooks so no colonist goes hungry — well-fed colonists work and fight better.

Multiplayer

MineColonies has a powerful multiplayer system with a robust permissions framework. Assign roles such as Officer, Friend, Neutral, or Hostile to other players within your colony. Compete with or collaborate alongside other colonies on the same server, each protected by a strong anti-griefing system. Whether you're building a shared empire or a rival settlement, MineColonies makes it fun for everyone.
