The Restaurant is where the Cook will cook food, provided they have the necessary ingredients and fuel. When citizens are hungry, they will come to the Restaurant and the Cook will give them food. The Cook is only able to smelt food into it's cooked form. The Chef is responsible for crafting ingredients and dishes in the Cookery .
The first tab of the GUI is the main interface.
The second tab of the GUI is the fuel.
Listed here are items that can be used by the Restaurant as fuel in their furnaces.
Simply turn on any that you want your Restaurant to use, and a Courier will deliver those items to the Restaurant when they need fuel. All items are off by default.

The third tab of the GUI is the food.
Listed here are food items that will be handed out by the Cook . Disable any you don't want to be handed out or produced. However, if a colonist finds a disabled item, they'll still eat it - the Cook just won't hand it out.
The background color indicates the quality of the food. Gold is the best food served for the colonists, silver is the next best followed by bronze. Food with a white background is non minecolonies food and has a negative impact on happiness and gives worse nutrition.
The cook in the Restaurant is only able to cook the most basic food. The more advanced recipes can be baked by the Baker . For the best food you will need to build a Cookery
Each row contains a button to toggle the usage of this item on or off. By default this is on for all items.

The fourth tab of the GUI is the minimum stock.
Use this button to tell the Restaurant to keep a minimum stock on hand. Set items will be displayed above the button.
